WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SEC 2 PMC (20-22 JAN & 30 Jan-2 Feb).

[S2 Maths + Science PMCians]

What we did in 2 hours:

This week, we have complete the Maths topic on Expansion & Factorisation.

We started our lesson with a recap on expansion using special formulae and 2-term & 4-term factorisation.

Again, make sure you memorise these three IMPORTANT SPECIAL FORMULAE!

(a + b)²= a² + 2ab + b²
(a – b)²= a² – 2ab + b²
a² – b² = (a + b)(a – b)

learnt how to solve 3-term factorisation using cross multiplication method, and had a short test on Expansion & Factorisation before lesson ended.
