What we did in 2 hours (PMC LIVE):
This week, we started on a new Math topic – Linear Graphs. In the lecture, we looked at what is a coordinate plane, what is a coordinate, how to plot and draw a straight line, and we even went on into the steepness of the line (ie, gradient). In the 1.5 hour PMC Live session, we further enforced the concept of gradient and we decided to stretch the students a little further by looking for the equation of a straight line.
At the end of the session, students are able to grasp and execute the 3 skillset confidently:
1) Find the gradient of the line
2) Identify the two types of special lines, vertical and horizontal
3) When given a coordinate, we can replace the x and y value to solve for any unknowns
