What we did in 2 hours (PMC LIVE):
In the PMC Webcast, we looked at the various separation techniques:
1) Magnetic Attraction
2) Filtration
3) Evaporation
4) Distillation
5) Chromatography
We are able to identify the different techniques for different mixtures. During PMC LIVE, we re-enforced the concepts and had fun with the various MCQs. We also learnt the answering techniques for the selected structured questions, highlighting the need for the use of right scientific terms and giving specific answers pertaining to the questions asked instead of giving generic answers. While we will be returning to Maths topic – Linear Graphs in the next PMC LIVE, we shall look forward to another exciting science topic after our Maths sessions!
