We ended our last lesson on Electricity with a series of tests and exciting quizzes. Hope all of you had fun trying to solve the questions in double-quick time,and earning PMC dollars for your team but more importantly, you should now have the skills and confidence to conquer Circuits questions! =)

What we did in 2 hours:

Last week, we explored more application of differentiation, Rate of Change.

We see that these problems can be done using the 5-step approach:
(1) Represent all given rate of change
(2) Form the chain
(3) Form the equation, then differentiate and substitute
(4) Substitute the values obtained into Step (2)
(5) Write a concluding statement.

Sometimes, from the Step 3 in the summary, the equation may not be given directly and can be tricky. Please continue to practise Rate of Change questions by trying the Takeaway Questions.

What we did in 2 hours:

We have completed our headstart programme with a Topic Mastery focusing on practical observation and analysis skills. You are now equipped with crucial reading and interpretation skills (e.g. anticipating cation/anion/redox tests) to tackle any qualitative and titration questions for practical.

Special Mention:

PMC NEW NORMAL

Students can choose to attend any of the timeslots onsite in the respective outlets or live from home at the same timing. There will be both ONSITE and ONLINE audience for all classes. ONSITE and ONLINE students will be able to interact with one another and the tutor will be able to engage both audiences. Both platforms (onsite and online) will be carried out concurrently, ensuring that students in the physical classroom and those attending lessons via Zoom are taught exactly the same content, at the same time, by the same tutor.
