[S1 Maths + Science PMCians]
What we did in 2 hours:
This week, we started our Maths lesson on Algebraic Manipulations.
We started off with Algebraic multiplication and division.
— Remember what to do with division? Change the sign to multiply, then FLIP the fraction right after.
We also learnt Factorisation (i.e. take out common factor).
— First take out the HCF of coefficients, then take out common variables with the lowest power indices.
Finally, lesson ended with a fun PMC Kahoot. 🙂
What you take home:
It’s March holidays! Do take some time to revise and brush up your algebra by attempting the Take-Away Questions on Algebra Expressions (if you have not done so) and Algebra Manipulations.

Next week we will complete our topic on Algebraic Manipulation by going through more examples and practices. Of course, a
test will be conducted before the end of lesson. HAhAha ….
