[J2] Lesson 31 (COE + DC Grade A Lesson 1 + P&C + Probability L2 + Organic Chemistry)

[J2 Physics PMCians] Electricity & DC Circuits (Grade A)

What we did in 2 hours:

This week, we took time to attempt DC Circuits questions under time condition. We looked at the 3 main methods to approach any question in circuits :

1) V = RI (Ohm’s law)

2) Potential Divider Method (Series Circuit only)

3) Current Divider Method (2 Parallel resistors only)

Special Mention:

In our next lesson, we continue with part 2 of our Grade A Circuits questions.

Till we meet again, stay safe and healthy!

What we did in 2 hours:

Wrapping up our revision on P&C and Probability is a set of common exam types, including some higher order variants and a couple of A levels classics.

Notably, we want to be able to deal with probabilities involving 3 events and also mode type of questions involving showing equations. Further skillsets include managing factorials and inequalities, which have been used in many other A levels questions as well. Do review those questions!

What you take home:

Weekly Quiz: Quiz D and Solutions for Quiz C have been updated into the link.

Special Mention:

We will finish off P&C and probability and kick off some DRV as well.

See You and Stay Healthy!

[J2 Chemistry PMCians] Almost there

What we did in 2 hours:

This week, we have completed our review on Acidity, Basicity and Hydrolysis of Organic Compounds by tackling structured questions which we deem to be low-lying fruits. We then discussed the last chapter on Amino Acids & Proteins, dealing with its basic structure and chemistry.

Special Mention:

Next lesson, we will tackle structured questions on Amino Acids & Proteins, and go back to review a physical chem chapter – Solubility Equilibrium. Do remember to bring back the Secrets Enclosed for Physical Chem!

Stay happy and healthy!
