[J2] Lesson 24 (E-Field + Differentiation + Organic Chemistry)

[J2 Physics PMCians] Going deeper with Electric Fields

What we did in 2 hours:

We surely went deeper in our understanding of Electric Fields this week! Our revision has given you a big picture view of this topic, and the selected questions were hand-picked to ensure you understand and have the right problem solving techniques to ace this topic!

What you take home:

What we did in 2 hours:

Calculus revision begins! Starting with Differentiation, we went through all the application types, with a closer look at some question types from recent A levels papers.

Do recap and familiarise with the standard operations, as well as those involving Cartesian conversions, areas under tangents and angles between tangents. Additionally, as we go forward, we will be building up familiarity for questions with more tedious phrasings, where multiple unknown constants are involved.

What you take home:

Worked solutions for Q5&6 linked here:

Special Mention:

Next up we have Integration, which can be a handful. Do warmup!

What we did in 2 hours:

Our formal revision on Organic Chemistry begins, running us through most of the reactions of functional groups till Hydroxyl Compounds. Do make it a point to revise the reagents and conditions within the week to refresh your memory!

What you take home:

The solutions to Homework for Acid Base Equilibria is found here:

Special Mention:

Next lesson, let us complete our revision for the other functional groups, and start on questions dealing with Organic Synthesis.
